Satchmi and the Search for Food
by Alicia Florentino
There are four steps to help one improve herself or himself.
First. Be passionate about different things. It can be music, photography, or coffee. Show your enthusiasm through the things you love and are fond of. Be proud of that fondness, and of course, be proud of those things you are fond of. They carry pieces of you; pieces that will probably fade and wither in a week, a month, a year, five years, ten years, it doesn't matter. But they make up distinct parts of who you are. Cultivate those parts of you, and they will last forever.
Second. Try to immerse yourself in things you never even dreamed of loving. They can be books, leather crafts, notebooks, cool pens, weird socks, printed ties, you name it. Don't be ashamed to say that you are passionate about these things. If you like printed ties, wear printed ties. If you like notebooks, buy notebooks (but don't forget to write in them). If you like food, then eat food. Cook food. Different types of food. Make soups out of cheesesteak or lasagna if you want to. Smash some edamame and peas and slap that on some bread with cheese, who cares? They're bound to be delicious. But remember, the art of cooking food requires one to put their heart and soul into it. It requires dedication, focus, and most importantly, passion.
Third. If you want to, change. Change your appearance, change your attitude, change your behavior, change your mindset. Try out a new hairstyle, or buy yourself a new wardrobe. See things differently. As long as you want to do it, just do it. There's nothing wrong with changing who you are, as long as you don't compromise yourself and the things that you love to do so.
Fourth. Drop by the store. See the changes for yourself. Eat the food for yourself. Yes, that's right. Food.
Steaming bowls of Lasagna and Cheesesteak soups are now the usual occupants of the tables at the store, along with plates piled with BLT and Reuben sandwiches and Caprese bruschettas and of course, our coffee mug comrades.
That is just a small taste of what our new menu has to offer. The launch of the new menu with surprisingly original choices will hopefully have you coming back to the store again and again.
Try it out of yourself. [pls] [just do it] [its nice here] [nice people nice food and a nice atmosphere what more do you want] [cmon people]
